How it Works

This program is fun, easy to teach, takes minimal time, eliminates reversals and enhances letter placement and formation. This method focuses on giving children a vivid visual image of each letter using real world concepts: the ground, water, and the sky. Students can look around their world where these concepts are validated daily.

The uniqueness of this program lies in the following items:

  1. Letter Grouping - Letters are grouped by where they land on the page.
  2. Visual Imaging - Each letter has a story, using real world concepts which gives the child cues to the formation, orientation, and location of the letter.  The stories are silly and entertaining which help the children retain the concepts.  The letters stories are simple and interactive, incorporating movement, action verbs, and sound effects to enhance the visual images.  The stories completely eliminate the error of reversals.
  3. Lower case letters - This program begins with the lower case letters, because they are used more often in print and writing.
  4. Repetition - Each letter builds on the previous letter and or stroke.
  5. 3 lined paper - The program begins with 3 lined paper with the lines, letters and spaces labeled - Ground, water, sky, and smiley spaces, which gives children reference points for letter placement.
The program is packed with therapeutic techniques which can be easily infused into the classroom. The teacher's guide provide several options, however the program can be easily adjusted to fit your classroom needs and time frame and will interface with any curriculum.

"The kids love it! I have not had one child complain about handwriting practice. I also have some students who ask to do it first thing in the morning! I love the idea of the pressure activity." -Pamela L., Kindergarten
"First of all I wanted to tell you I LOVE this program! I hope all the elementary schools buy into this program-it’s amazing! One [student] JUST wrote her name for the first time the other day. It was only once, but I was proud nonetheless! I think your program will work wonders for her!"
